Even though the new year has just begun, February is just a few weeks Valentine’s day is a lot of fun, and I like to plan ahead. When I don’t I end up with a list of things that I thought about doing but never got around to. Celebrating Valentine’s day is not about grand gestures or fancy gifts. Usually it’s just my son and I and sweets. Plenty of sweets! 🙂 I think you should take advantage of every opportunity to show the people in your life that you care. Like I said, it’s not about the big things, but just a little something to show that you appreciate having them in your life. A note, a small gift or something homemade really are the best gifts is you ask me.
Those of you who have stopped by before know that I’m all about printables. I love them because they’re convenient, cheap and always very appreciated by the recipients. For Valentine’s Day this year I designed some tags (you can never have to many tags in your stash), popcorn boxes and giftcard holders. My plan is to give my son a book and attach the tag to it, make some candy popcorn to put in the box and buy a giftcard to a movie for him. I think he’ll be thrilled!
These round tags a perfect to add to a wrapped gift, a box or a jar of candy. You can write the to and from on the back.
To make the popcorn boxes; print two of the same design and glue together to form a box. A bottom piece is also included in the design. Why not make one for each of the kids?
Giftcards are always appreciated gifts, but they can also feel un-imaginative and boring. Print these cute giftcard holders and it will feel much more thoughtful and personal.
